Overview
Summer Fun Fellowship is a highlight event of Kiondaga Lodge! Held each year in the summer months, it is complete with fun activities from a giant waterslide to a cornhole tournament. Hang out with your fellow Arrowmen and enjoy the good company and great food. Of course, it wouldn’t be an OA event without a trading post, and we will have all of the squishees you can drink and candy you can eat – even the 32 Oz. Location
We will host this year’s Summer Fun Fellowship at the Eykamp Scout Center! Join Arrowmen from our entire lodge at the Buffalo Trace Council’s beautiful grounds situated centrally on Evansville’s Lloyd Expressway. Lodge members will set up camp on the top of the hill and spend the day all around the Scout Center. We will additionally spend some time at an arcade! Read more details below.
Activities & Games
Activities planned for the weekend include Cornhole, Meeting Acorn Boy, Ultimate Frisbee, and—as is tradition—a giant waterslide! Also, be prepared for an after-dark game! Bring your glow sticks and neon clothes to join in with the Neon Theme over the weekend. The activities committee is seeking your help, so if you would like to share any unique ideas, please email our Vice Chief of Activities at activities@kiondaga.org.
Arcade
No need to bring your quarters! The lodge will be taking an excursion to High Score: Player Two Classic Arcade for some afternoon fun. Maybe you can beat our Lodge Chief at the air hockey table or show up a Vice Chief on your favorite old-school arcade game. Your registration fee for the event includes entry to the arcade, so get it on like Donkey Kong with unlimited plays!
Trading Post
Who doesn’t love the trading post? We will offer a wide selection of ice cream, candy, squishee flavors, snacks, and more! Be sure to check out the silent patch auction and the various camping supplies that might come in handy.
Also, we will debuting a new Squishee flavor at this event that was voted on at Spring Fellowship by our new members! The flavor will be … Pineapple Fanta!
Finally, the trading post is the place to go if you need any help, whether it be with the schedule or a question about the event.
COVID-19 Precautions
We have evaluated this event to provide a fun experience to our members while keeping them safe. We have implemented a change in many of the camp protocols using guidance from the Buffalo Trace Council and state guidelines. Some of the specifics are listed below. If you have any questions, you may direct them to contact@kiondaga.org.
• All food preparation and serving will be in accordance to state and local guidelines.
• The Trading Post will only be able to serve a certain number of customers at any time.
• Frequent hand washing and general hygiene is encouraged. A Scout is Clean.
• If not vaccinated, mask wearing is encouraged when not socially-distanced.

August 10, 2022 Update: The callout ceremony scheduled for Saturday evening has been cancelled. The rest of the schedule remains and we look forward to a fun-filled event for our lodge members!
