Over September 27th-29th Kiondaga lodge held their annual Fall Fellowship. Due to the rain and storms we postponed until Saturday, September 28th.
When everyone arrived on the 28th, the ceremonies team got to work and prepared and performed the Ordeal ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone split up into service groups in order to complete cheerful service. The 9 Ordeal candidates completed their cheerful service out at the Pike County 4-H grounds by cleaning out animal stalls and buildings that are used during fair week. The one new Brotherhood member completed his cheerful service back at the Pike County Bird Hunters club by completing tasks to help out around the property.
Later that evening after all the cheerful service was completed, everyone sat down to a wonderful meal of smoked pork, mac and cheese, salad, and dessert. Special shout out to Cindy and Dave Winkleman along with the other kitchen crew for the amazing meals provided over the weekend. After ceremonies later that evening everyone spent time getting to know the lodge and lodge members and officers.
On Saturday afternoon Kiondaga lodge also held elections for 2025 officer positions. Congratulations to all the new and returning officers who will be sworn in at Winter Banquet.
