Dear Members of Kiondaga Lodge,

On behalf of the Lodge Executive Committee, we announce the unprecedented and heartbreaking decision to cancel the 2020 Spring Fellowship scheduled for May 15-17 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Although it was difficult to make this decision, we respect the efforts of healthcare professionals and wish to adhere to the guidelines set by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for mass gatherings.

All members who have registered for the Spring Fellowship will receive a full refund, handled by Staff Adviser Jaime Wilder. If possible, we still plan to allow members to provide service to our camp, where we will invite families to provide important service for opening the camp for the 2020 summer season, including Resource Camp, National Youth Leadership Training, Cub Scout Day Camp, and of course our very own Summer Fun Fellowship. If you would like to help out, we will observe physical distancing and provide a “walk-up” style lunch which you can eat where you please. To express your interest, please fill out this form or get in touch with any of us below.

As of right now, our Summer Fun Fellowship is still to take place as scheduled. For the first time ever, we will also open up Brotherhood conversion at this event with more details to come soon. During this uncertain and concerning time, we are inspired by the words of Kitchkinet in our Pre-Ordeal Ceremony:

“This Ordeal is but a shadow of the rigors of the journey, but its joys also are shadows of the brighter, greater beauty in a life of cheerful service.”

May the words of Kitchkinet guide your actions during this time. Our hearts are with those affected by COVID-19 and we express a sincere thank you to those working throughout this pandemic to mitigate and eventually stop the spread of the virus.

Stay healthy & live in service until we meet again,
